Clare Maynard

Interim Strategic Commissioner - Kent County Council

Clare Maynard is the currently the Interim Strategic Commissioner at Kent County Council. Before that she was the Head of Commissioning for Adult Social Care, having been at KCC for 7 years.

Clare chose to focus her career within the Public Sector and has held commercial roles within the Ministry of Justice, Home Office and the Department of Health.

With over 20 years’ experience in procurement, commissioning and contract management Clare has lead several first generation outsource programs.

Clare holds both an economics degree, and a master’s degree in business administration
