Dr Tammy Boyce

Senior Research Associate, Institute of Health Equity - University College London

Tammy’s main activities are collating and analysing data on the social determinants of health inequalities and providing evidence on policies and programmes across sectors which aim to reduce health inequalities. She is co-author of both the Marmot Review 10 Years On and the 2010 Marmot Review as well as: Build Back Fairer in Greater Manchester; Build Back Fairer: Achieving Health Equity in the Eastern Mediterranean Region and Sustainable Health Equity: Achieving a Net-Zero UK.

Tammy has worked with a number of international organisations, national and local governments and voluntary/third sector organisations. Prior to her work at the Institute of Health Equity, she worked for organisations including the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Kings Fund. She has published widely on issues relating to health and social care policy and the social determinants of health.
