Emma Adamson

Director of Learning Services - University of South Wales

Emma is an experienced Director of Libraries, Employability and Skills Services, within the UK higher education and commercial sectors. Emma’s career has focussed on student success, graduate outcomes, and organisational improvement projects. Many of which have been achieved through effective partnership working and collaboration, such as the All-Wales Library Management Systems project (Times Higher Education Leadership & Management awards winner: Outstanding Library Team).  ​

Emma is an elected member of the British Library’s Advisory Council, a former Chairperson of the Jisc Transnational Education Licensing Advisory Board, a member of the AdvanceHE Wales Race Access and Success in HE programme; and has recently been elected as a Governor for Bridgend College. Emma’s personal interests include walking coast paths, the RHS, cycling, swimming, and completing the Agatha Christie challenge.
